Tennis betting rules

General rules:

Tennis matches remain open, and all bets are valid until the official bodies or the organizing entity declare a winner.

However, if a player retires, defaults (due to injury, illness, or personal reasons), is disqualified, or if the match is abandoned, all markets determined by events occurring on the court will be settled accordingly. All other undecided markets will be voided. For clarification, if a player retires before the final point is played, the match winner market will be void, but all markets related to specific sets or games that have been decided will be settled according to the rules.

Markets that have been mathematically decided will be settled once the deciding point has been confirmed. Example: In a set score of 3-3, the minimum number of games required for the set to be completed is 9 (for example, 6-3 or 3-6). This means that total lines of 6.5, 7.5, and 8.5 can already be settled as a win for Over. Integer lines where neither selection wins will be voided.

Tie-Break:

A tie-break is played when two players reach a 6-6 tie in any set. The tie-break ends when one player reaches 7 points with a 2-point advantage over the opponent. It is important to note that in over/under markets, the tie-break is counted as a single game regardless of its length.

Super-Tie-Break:

A Super Tie-Break is similar to a tie-break, but the winner is the player who reaches 10 points with a 2-point advantage over the opponent. The Super Tie-Break is also counted as a single game in over/under markets regardless of its length.

A Tie-Break or Super Tie-Break is valid only if it is announced before the start of the match.

Point Winner Markets:

Point winner markets are settled once the specific point has been confirmed. If the point is not played, the market will be void.

How major tournaments handle tie-breaks

If the score reaches six games all in the final set (2-2 or 1-1 in sets and 6-6 in games), the match winner(s) will be the first player(s) to reach 10 points with an advantage of two or more points (e.g., 10-8, 10-7, 10-6, 11-9, 15-13, etc.). This rule applies to all Grand Slam tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, US Open, Wimbledon), including qualifying, Men’s singles and doubles, Women’s singles and doubles, Wheelchair, and Junior events in singles.
